TheBilbao Extreme It has been with us since 2011. The Bilbao Extreme takes us to enjoy a very special edition. Nature in its purest state combining sports and tourism in the mountains that surround Bilbao. Mountain Bike lovers from Bilbao, Bizkaia and more distant locations. Any time is a good time to come to Bilbao and enjoy everything that the city has to offer.
2011
A spectacular, sensational, colorful, grand tour with views
wonderful is what we made available to those who wanted to enjoy it. We combine mountain and city
54 km with departure and arrival at the Guggenheim Museum, passing through
the Pagasarri, going down to Alonsótegi, going up again to the refuge of the
Pagasarri and descent to Arrigorriaga. From here to the Guggenheim Museum.
2012
A total of 60 km was completed with great hardness and beautiful landscapes, which made it much more attractive than the previous one and was a new challenge for everyone.
On June 10, 2012, the start of the II Extreme Bilbao Bizkaia Btt took place from the Guggenheim Museum passing through Arraiz, Pagasarri, Alonsotegi and Arrigorriaga returning again to the Guggenheim Museum.
2013
On May 26, 2013, the third edition of BILBAO EXTREME was held. A Mountain Bike test that counted with three routes of 75, 55 and 32 kilometers, whose departure and arrival will be located in KOBETAS.
This test, which this year has reinvented itself, taking a significant leap in quality and fully betting on nature, intends to

2014
On June 1, 2014, the fourth edition of BILBAO EXTREME was held. A
event that brought together more than 800 participants spread over 3 different circuits.
40, 55 and 74 kilometers of route starting and finishing at Mount Kobetas, going up Pagasarri and going through Alonsotegi, Sodupey and Arrigorriaga.
TXAPELDUN EXTREME Route:
It consists of 74 kilometers and 3000 meters of unevenness
- SUPER EXTREME route:
There are 55 kilometers in which 1200 meters of unevenness are avoided
- EXTREME route:
40 kilometers in which 1800 meters of unevenness are avoided
2015
On June 27, the fifth edition of the Bilbao Extreme BTT took place in our city, a Mountain Bike event starting and finishing in Kobetas that consisted of three alternative routes of different kilometers and difficulty and that, despite going through the popular cycling area of Pagasarri, discovered many new trails for bikers. The V Bilbao Extreme has left us with a high number of participants coming from outside Bizkaia, a total of almost 400 runners have come from outside our historical territory making it clear that the Bilbao Extreme is increasingly attractive outside our borders
2016
Once again, this event was aimed at promoting the GREEN GR as well as Tourism in Bilbao and Bizkaia. 80 km of incredible ups and downs around Mount Pagasarri.
2017
On July 22, the great annual Mountain Bike event arrived in Bizkaia, a long-awaited and obligatory event for bikers in the area and many others who came from far away locations. The incomparable cycling passion that exists in Bizkaia deserved a special sporting event that was up to par with an incredible city like Bilbao. The test brought together 865 participants who, together with their companions, left us a day of 2,000 people in Alto de Kobetas.

to enjoy a very special edition. Change of season to find a Bilbao greener than ever.

On November 1, 2020, the edition of BILBAO EXTREME was held. A Mountain Bike test that had three routes of 75, 55 and 32 kilometers, whose start and finish lines were located in KOBETAS and which once again has been organized by jfgsport
